Needed a replacement front door lock, this has worked excellent.One year later of use and it's standing up to the test of time.

This was bought to replace a badly fitted 40mm night latch. I admit that I've done a lot of DIY, including fitting locks, but for any competent DIYer, this should be a straightforward fit, as long as you follow the instructions carefully and have the right tools (32mm spade drill bit and a good, sharp chisel are a must).The lock is up to the expected Yale quality. It's not the highest security rating, but it's sufficient for our needs as we have other locks on the door for security. For the price, it's excellent.

At first site it looks good, I'm wondering how long it will last because my first purchase only lasted two years.

This is a replacement for a similar style of lock, on a very old door. Works great and gives me the retro look that I want.
