This fan is pretty sleek, and much smaller than a regular desk fan while still being more powerful. It looks modern and clean, with mostly hidden blades and an LED screen on the front to display your setting and current charge. It's rechargeable and can be used wirelessly, so you can set it down anywhere, but you can still use it while it's plugged in and charging too.For some reason the fan has 100 settings and three buttons to control them, so it's pretty simple to use. I'm not sure why it has 100 different speeds when maybe five would have covered everything, but sure. I do really like that it doesn't have a horizontal sweep mode, which I'm always turning on by accident on other fans, as I want the air pointed at ONLY ME all the time. When summer gets hot, it's every man for himself. MY cool air. Mine. It's mostly safe. 99% safe. I feel like the front could have used slightly smaller grating, as you could possibly poke your finger through the front if you had small hands. I'm an adult so I'm probably not going to, but I can definitely see the temptation if you're a kid.I absolutely LOVE that it can be put on a wall? Very cool! My dream of being surrounded on all sides by fans is one step closer to fruition. You do have to screw it to the wall, and the screws aren't included, but I like that the option is there. Once you have the screws placed and in the wall, you can just pop it off when it's time to recharge.I'm always slightly wary of fans I can't clean the blades on, but sticking a compressed air cleaner behind it should mostly remove any dust that accumulates. At £30, I think it lives up to the price. It's sturdy, sleek and powerful, and easily transported so you could carry it out into the garden or have it on your outdoor picnic table. It's a good fan, so recommended.

This is a nice looking fan, (I got the black and purple version), and it was slightly larger than I was expecting. The head of the fan can tilt and the resistance for this has been nicely judged. There is the option to wall mount this if desired but no screws/wall plugs are provided. I'm primarily using it as a desk fan.Operation is very simple with only three buttons on the base. The central clear display is easy to read and shows you the battery state as well as the fan speed between 1 and 100. As you cycle up and down through the speeds, the display shows a fun little wind guide ranging from "The Breeze" to "Strong Winds" and finally "The Storm". Once happy, the fan pushes out a good level of air and the display changes between wind speed and battery status.I found that you can't disable the display, (perhaps if you wanted to sleep), which is a shame and I would also say it's slightly loose with the truth when it comes to the high speed "The Storm" setting, but it still pushes out a good draft of air. It's pretty quiet unless on the maximum speed and there is a decent airflow from it, certainly enough for my desk.Charging via USB C (the port is at the bottom at the back), is great and my final note is that with the three buttons, I would expect the reduce speed button to be on the left and the increase speed on the right. As it is these are reversed and it just feels a little counter intuitive.Otherwise this is a good looking and user-friendly desk fan.

I've had my fair share of these so called "mini" fans, and thus I wasn’t expecting much from a desk fan, but this one’s actually kind of impressive. It’s got a really clean, modern look, almost like something from one of those high-end brands. The size surprised me (in a good way) as it's a bit bigger than I expected, but it still fits perfectly on my desk. It feels solid, not like one of those flimsy plastic fans that feels like it’s going to fall over if you breathe near it. It is however plastic, but a heavy plastic. The display is a good addition to it. You get 100 speed levels, which sounds a bit overkill at first, but once you try it, you get why, it’s nice being able to dial in the exact breeze you want, especially if you’re picky about stuff like that. And it remembers your last setting, which is way more useful than you'd think. I just keep it on 100% all the time, because why not. Also, I keep it plugged in near my desk with USB-C, but it’s also got a rechargeable battery that lasts a decent amount of time if you want to move it around. I haven’t used the wall mount feature, but cool that it’s there. It’s also reasonably quiet, even on the higher settings. Like, I can have it running during video calls and no one even notices it. That alone makes it worth it if you work from a computer a lot.Overall, just a solid fan with smart design choices. Nothing flashy, just does its job really well, oh, and it looks good doing it. If you spend a lot of time at a desk or just want a quieter way to stay cool, I’d say this is a solid pick.

We own a few of these free standing rechargeable fans and they're very useful, in the conservatory for instance. What I like about this one is that it feels sturdy, and as long as the electrics don't pack up it should be perfect for throwing into a bag and taking on summer caravan holidays. The display shows two things in succession - the speed (in steps marked 1-100) and the charge as a %. Once the charge has been shown it defaults to the speed for the remainder of the time it's switched on.At full speed it's perhaps a bit too much, because mostly we have this on a table top next to us, and at night for instance you could probably get away with 20% or less. That will increase the battery life too.The fan pivots up and down, and that's good, but one thing that I find odd is the position of the buttons. You have three in a row, an on/off in the centre and a + and - either side. You would expect the left button to turn the fan down and the right button to be the 'plus' to make it go faster, and yet it's the exact opposite. I suppose we'll get used to it.The other thing, and it's not really a criticism but it's a bit daft, is the idea that you need 100 steps. Is there anyone who is using this and thinking "Ooh, 64 is a bit fast.... Ahh, 63 is much better"? No. 10 or 20 would be fine, and would help with getting the setting where you want it. Pressing a button 50 times to get from 10 to 60 (for example) is a pain, but if you hold the button in it goes too fast to stop it on the number you want. But like I say, it's not a major problem.Overall we like this and as we're going through an early heatwave right now (May 1st as I sit here), it's a good time to get one.
