Vari fattori come il grado di finezza dei chicchi macinati, la consistenza e la pressione durante il tamponamento, la varietà e la freschezza del caffè utilizzato e la pressione dell'acqua dal gruppo erogatore possono influenzare tutti il risultato. I portafiltro senza fondo mostrano chiaramente i problemi, poiché l'espresso pressato potrebbe non funzionare come previsto. Un esempio potrebbe essere quello di utilizzare un portafiltro senza fondo con una macchina con una pressione del gruppo caffè di 15 bar e polvere di caffè sottovuoto del supermercato. Questo finirebbe con un espresso schizzato piuttosto che con lo shot, che tutti desideriamo.

Ich habe nun verschiedene Shots gezogen. Und das Teil ist einfach nicht so dicht, wie es sein müsste und im Vergleich zum Originalsiebträger meiner Glenda ist. Das heißt es läuft entsprechend leicht Wasser am Sieb vorbei. Die sonstige Verarbeitung stört mich weniger, auch nicht das Plastik, das vielfach moniert wurde.

Das heißt es läuft entsprechend leicht Wasser am Sieb vorbei. Die sonstige Verarbeitung stört mich weniger, auch nicht das Plastik, das vielfach moniert wurde.

This bottomless portafilter delivers what you expect: vastly improved ability to see your espresso as it pours and judge the perfect moment to end your shot. Fit is almost perfect in my Lelit PL62 Mara (it is just a hair 'tighter' fit than the Lelit branded standard portafilter that came with my machine, which is actually a good thing). It is compatible with the blank and 2 shot baskets that came with the machine, and as a bonus, it also comes with a new 3 shot basket!The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is that the build quality is slightly cheaper than a Lelit branded portafilter. I'm not a fan of the smooth plastic grip (versus the Lelit's texturized plastic), but more importantly, there grip is plastic all the way through, as opposed to the Lelit's, which is plastic over metal. It remains to be seen whether the all-plastic grip will come loose or start to warp over time. For the time being, it is tight and warp-free
