Initial Unboxing:It comes in a nice thin box with the magnetic phone holder, 2 pairs of adhesive pads, 2 pairs of a magnetic rings, a dry/wet wipe, and a metal ring locator. If you do have a case with MagSafe, then the magnetic rings will not be needed. Other wise, use metal ring locator to help install the magnetic ring. Clean the backside of the your phone or case before installing the magnetic ring with the dry/wet wipe. Make sure that is applied well and wait 6 hours before using it. When installing the magnetic phone holder, please clean the surface you want to apply it on with either a quick interior detailer or an all purpose cleaner. Make sure the surface is something that is flat without texture and not at an angle like the photos on top. Those photos are outdated and instead, I installed them on the top of my dashboard right above my original placement. Remove the film on the adhesive pad and place them carefully on the spot you want to use it at that is within hands reach. This is especially important to wait for at least 24 hours after pressing it firmly for about 20-30 seconds so it has time to stick onto the surface. If you want, you can wait for 48 hours instead which may yield slightly better results, but 24 hours is usually the bare minimum. After 24/48 hours, place the magnetic phone holder on the adhesive pad firmly. Adjust and twist it to the right position before placing it to make sure you don't accidentally tear the adhesive pad off. This may not be the ultimate value product compare to some other phone holders that includes 2 for a similar price. However, this product feels like it is built well without feeling too cheap. The price is reasonable and uses the convenience of magnets as you can simply place your phone on the base and get moving without having to deal with adjusting for any setting. I have used this for a week so far without the previous placement in the pictures above (fell on my first test, but that was my fault for it not being on a flat surface), but it's still holding up well so I'd highly recommend this magnetic phone holder to anyone that wants something simple looking, but functions well without any extra steps!

Car mounts for iPhones come in all shapes and sizes, but most try to attach to the vents somehow and I have had bad experiences with these. I see the appeal--no need to make any permanent or difficult-to-reverse mods to your car, but the vents just aren't a good mounting location.This mount attaches with an adhesive to the dash (it is actually a patch of hook-and-loop that attaches) and then the device is flexible enough to let you position it how you like.A simple concept but one that works a lot better than many others. If you are okay having someone semi-permanent then you will have a much better experience with this mount than many others. Just plan carefully where you want your phone to be and use the adhesive. It does come off when you are ready to move on, but just requires a little more work to remove it cleanly.
