I've used this 3 times so far and here's what I found. The first two times I used it the zip unzipped so the trainers were being washed in the machine and not in the bag, but not too sure how far into the wash this happened and shoes weren't ruined so it was fine. On the 3rd wash, I used a safety pin to keep the bag closed and that worked, football boots came out lovely and leather was not ruined. However, when washing trainers (with nothing else in the machine) my machine seemed to stop mid cycle and I would have to start the wash again and then wouldn't spin. I think this was because not enough of a load was in the machine. Would I recommend this product, yes as it does protect your trainers with the fluffy material inside the bag, just ensure that you have a safety pin to keep the zip closed.

This seemed like a nice product when it arrived. I used it once for a pair of trainers with no issues. When I used it the second time for a different pair, the zip burst open and shoes and laces were thrown around the washing machine. The trainers and washing machine are hopefully not damaged. As this product was quite cheap I didn't expect it to last forever but only working for one use is not particularly helpful. Additionally, the returns process is not much use as I'm being told to use the original manufacturer's packaging which is not possible as this came vacuum packed in plain plastic which I had to cut to open.
