I was looking for a flash for my Canon EOS, read so many reviews on which one to go for etc. Finally settled down for 430EX II, ordered from Amazon and got it quickly. (I always try to order from Amazon because of customer service, i had few incidents which has made me trust Amazon over other e comm portals).This flash is a beauty. I have used it inside my house with very less light and have got very good results. There used to be a shadow and reflection, searched net and learned how to bounce off light from the flash, which gives very good photos. Sometimes i get warm tones, which i correct through Canon software.Operation wise very easy to use, though i went into each feature and tried it out.Overall i would recommend this to anyone who wants to buy first external flash, dont think go for it.

Es muy buen producto, si lo usas con unas buenas pilas recargables tienes para bastantes disparos y a máxima potencia realmente asombra lo que puede llegar hacer. El sistema TTL hace maravillas, para mi, imprescindible si no quieres andar calculadora en mano. Algunas personas han dejado malos comentarios pero la mayoría son comentarios inútiles que la gente aporta sin tener el mas mínimo conocimiento de lo que está hablando; Como flash esclavo funciona muy bien, en algunas cámaras esta opción no la puedes usar (Modelos antiguos o modelos mas avanzados sin flash incorporado como la mía: 5D, 6D, 1D...) si no montas en ella un flash con posibilidad de usarse como maestro o con un emisor (Por ejemplo Canon Speedlite Transmitter ST-E2). Por otro lado incorpora una pestaña difusora, evidentemente no incluye ningún tipo de "reflector", paraguas o softbox como he leído por ahí, hasta lo poco que yo se… NINGÚN FLASH del mercado lo incluye, bueno sí, los de estudio. Por último aclarar a la persona que comenta que no le han enviado el "Speedlite 430EX III" y que ha dejado una sola estrella que esto ha ocurrido porque ese modelo de flash Canon NO EXISTE, no se si pretendía recibir un "prototipo" o que la gente de Amazon viajase al futuro. No comprendo como Amazon no modera este tipo de comentarios ya que hay muchos que pueden llegar a confundir a muchas personas que no dispongan de ciertos conocimientos.

....I learned a lesson this week and one that I should have already learned I am sure at my age!I bought a digital dslr and as my film camera collection has a large hot shoe flash I thought I would treat my dslr to one. I had bought a Gloxy flash, claimed to be equivalent to the canon 580ex. I got the flash and tried it, about the only way it worked was on the hot shoe facing forward. Bounce flash and wireless flash exposures way under. Useless. So returned.There are many flashes around cheaper than the pukka canon flashes and they are not cheap.However if you want something to work properly you need the original.I got this flash yesterday and tried a few shots last night. First off direct on hot shoe straight ahead the exposures are spot on in auto, or ettl. tried different modes on the camera and all looked the same, exposure spot on.Tried bouncing the flash in various directions, again the output of the flash adjusted for the light it needed to light the shot, all spot on, this is where the chinese flash just failed to light the subject.Then tried wireless, no problem worked first time, exposures as expected.If your looking to buy this flash chances are your a bit more than your average point and shoot and will probably not use the green square on your dslr, you need a bit of kit that you can rely on to do what its supposed to do. This canon flash is powerful enough, there are good reviews on the net, there is one more powerful, the 580ex, but its rare you will ever use this flash at full output, so its enough. So if you ever get asked to do some shots for anyone, weddings, parties etc, you know you can rely on it.It comes in a nice pouch which I will hang on to my camera bag also handy to keep the stand with you as, my 60D will control it wireless, this will be a very handy way to use the flash.Copy stuff is ok, but if you want to explore features and 'need' to use something to its intended potential, you just get let down. The gloxy didnt work properly, canons flash system works by sending a pre flash in ettl before the main flash, so fast you cant see it, try a flash on second curtain in bulb mode and you will see two flashes, the first it the metering flash. The old ATTL used to work by sending a pre flash when you half pressed the shutter, your subject then thought you had taken the shot.... Anyhow the gloxy saw the pre flash set off but wasnt in the shot, although it seemed like the flash went off when I pressed the shutter, it did, but milliseconds before the shutter opened.The pre flash in wireless also contains instructions to the remote flash, only a canon can read this and work properly, or at least the gloxy doesnt...All in all very happy with this flash and know I can rely on it to give me the exposures I want.

Avendo già acquistato il 580 EXII ho preferito non cambiare marca, le cose da dire su questo flash sono molte, quindi iniziamo!:Pro:- Buona portata con numero guida giusto sotto al massimo per Canon- Molto più compatto e leggero del 580- Ottimi tempi di ricarica- Utile display posteriore- Pannello diffusore incluso ( da usare se proprio non avete di meglio! )- Le batterie durano di più rispetto al 580 (essendo meno potente..)- Funzione slave wireless, controlli dalla fotocamera potenza e raggio flash- Testa girevoleContro:- Per chi ha mani un po' grandi i bottoni sono troppo piccoli, ma ci si fa l'abitudine- Non è tropicalizzato- Caro rispetto a Metz e simili- Non ha la porta "terminale pc" utile ( se non essenziale ) per lavori da studio, ma si può ovviare acquistando telecomandi esterni con montaggio a slitta..- La funzione wireless integrata funziona bene ma ha una portata limitata- Costruzione non a livello del 580Due parole in più:Se volete entrare nel mondo stroboist fatevi questo flash di regalo insieme al 580, e avrete finalmente Voi il controllo sull'immagine.Considerate che a differenza dei flash da studio questi portatili non hanno una luce di modello, quindi dovrete fare varie prove prima di ottenere una giustaquantità di luce e, ovviamente se volete usarli a modo scordatevi le modalità automatiche sia sulla fotocamera che sui flash.Acquisti che consiglio insieme a questo flash, per usarlo al meglio:- Esposimetro esterno per non perdere troppo tempo con le regolazioni- Modificatori di luce, per iniziare softbox o ombrelli- Stativi con slitta flash- Radiocomandi esterni per una maggiore portata- Un buon libro che spieghi le tecniche basilari di illuminazione

Non sono un professionista ma amo la fotografia, dopo tante compatte ho deciso di fare il salto di qualità prendendo una 550d, per chi fa fotografie solo per passione spendere molti soldi è sempre un sacrificio ma per tutti quelli che decido di prendere una reflex sappiate che il primo acquisto da fare è il flash esterno. Non pensate a comprare subito altre ottiche, quelle le deciderete col tempo a seconda delle esigenze ma il flash dovete acquistarlo il prima possibile altrimenti i soldi spesi per la reflex "sono inutili", potete tenervi anche una buona compatta.Ci sono molte marche che offrono flash compatibili canon, cinesi, giapponesi, alcuni anche di buona qualità, se si vuole risparmiare qualcosa potete decidervi anche per quelli ma prima di fare questa scelta dovete fare diverse valutazioni: il prezzo di un buon flash compatibile si aggira sui 150€, la qualità costruttiva non sempre è al top, ci potrebbero essere problemi di compatibilità col sistema TTL canon, l'assistenza è sempre complicata in quanto queste marche spesso non hanno centri assistenza in Italia.Per poche decine di euro in più amazon ci offre la possibilità di acquistare questo flash canon che ci assicura la compatibilità con le reflex canon, ottima qualità costruttiva, centri assistenza canon a disposizione......Il flash assicura buone prestazioni, riscoprirete il piacere di fare foto con poca luce, se volete qualcosa più potente potete scegliere il 580 ma spendereste il doppio, non pensate all'acquisto di un flash meno potente perchè non avreste i risultati sperati (la potenza dei flash è rappresentata dal numero guida, più è alto e più il flash è potente).Il 430 è il giusto compromesso fra prestazioni e prezzo, da comprare assolutamente!!!!Ultima considerazione su Amazon: l'acquisto su questo sito è sempre un piacere, tempi di consegna sempre rispettati e prezzi imbattibili, pur offrendo la spedizione gratis è tracciabile e veloce, spesso l'oggetto arriva a casa un giorno prima rispetto alla data calcolata al momento dell'ordine.

La qualità e l'efficacia del flash non si discutono, uno dei migliori prodotti Canon. Lo uso con la 7D anche in modalità wireless grazie al supporto da tavolo in dotazione. Il flash è inoltre corredato di una pratica custodia su misura per un trasporto sicuro.Inutile stare qui ad elencare le caratteristiche tecniche perché le potrete trovare ben esposte sul sito Canon.it.Basta dire che con la parabola motorizzata, la funzionalità wireless, la possibilità di configurazione manuale e stand-alone, la potenza del lampo e la testina girevole e ribaltabile, coprirete tutte le vostre esigenze di illuminazione alternativa, aggiuntiva e ausiliaria per qualsiasi foto dobbiate scattare. Non scordatevi la tendina diffusore incorporata per diffondere maggiormente la luce: indispensabile con obiettivi grandangolari e fisheye e utile anche per creare una luce più soffusa ed eliminare totalmente le ombre.L'unica cosa che mi ha scocciato un po' è il fatto che sul sito di Amazon non fosse scritto che il prodotto è importato. Nella confezione infatti non troverete le istruzioni in Italiano e la garanzia è internazionale (IWS). [...] Resta il fatto che il prezzo è ottimo ma c'era un perché, ed a volte sarebbe preferibile saperlo prima di comprare così ogniuno può valutare e fare la sua scelta.Oltre a questo piccolo dettaglio, mi ritengo soddisfatto dell'acquisto e della serietà di Amazon. Nach der Anschaffung der Canon 7D war auch ein neuer Blitz fällig. Ich hatte bereits Erfahrungen mit Blitzen von unterschiedlichen Herstellern, incl. einem Noname-Blitz. Für mich kam nur der Metz 48AF-1 sowie der Canon 430EX II in Betracht. Warum? Der Sigma DG Super war mir zu wuchtig. Am Sigma störte mich zudem der lapprige Batteriefachdeckel. Mit einem Nonamer durchlitt ich ein Trauma, was nach dem dritten defekten Gerät meinerseits beendet wurde. Am Metz gefiel mir die Möglichkeit ihn per USB upzugraden. Zudem besaß ich bereits an meiner Pentax einen und war damit sehr zufrieden.Ich habe mich aber letztendlich doch für den Canon 430EX II entschieden. Warum lesen Sie in der nachfolgenden Rezension.Beim Auspacken des Canon Systemblitzes gefällt erstmal die Ausstattung und die Verarbeitung des Geräts. Der Blitz kommt in einer wertigen kleinen Nylontasche, incl eines zusätzlichen Blitzschuhs für spezielle Aufgaben. Der 430 strahlt Solidität aus. Haptisch einer der besten Systemblitze die ich bisher in der Hand hatte. Die Verarbeitung ist auf hohem Niveau. Sogar der Batteriefachdeckel ist sehr solide gebaut und überzeugt durch einen guten Mechanismus. An der Vorderseite dominiert das AF Hilfslicht sowie die Sensorabdeckung für den drahtlosen Betrieb. Rückseitig zeigt sich das Infoteil sehr aufgeräumt und übersichtlich. Die Tasten sind gut angebracht und das beleuchtete Statusdisplay erleichtert die Einstellung. Klasse finde ich die Befestigung auf dem Blitzschuh. Mittels Spannhebel ist der 430 mit einem Griff arettiert. Eine etwas fummelige Locktaste sichert den Blitz und verhindert so das ungewollte Lösen des Blitzes. Gut gefallen hat mir auch die Printversion des kleinen Benutzerhandbuchs.Der Blitzkopf ist vertikal wie horizontal schwenkbar. Vertikal sind 90° Schwenkbereich möglich, horizontal 270° Grad, zudem enthält er eine Weitwinkel - Streuscheibe bis 14mm Streuweite. Durch einfaches Herausziehen aus dem Blitzkopf wird diese Funktion aktiviert und vom Blitz selbstständig erkannt.Die Einstellbarkeit des 430EX reicht vom Vollautomatischen bis hin zum manuellen Blitzen. Die Funktionen decken einen sehr großen Bereich ab und reichen auch für den ambitionierten Amateur. Mit der 7D kann der 430 auch drahtlos angesteuert werden. Der interne Blitz der 7D fungiert als Master. Mittels eines bereits vorgesehenen Gewindes kann der 430 auch für andere Lösungen eingesetzt werden.Aufgrund der guten Schwenk und Einstellmöglichkeiten liefert der kleine Canon sehr gute Bildergebnisse ab. Egal ob als Aufhellblitz oder beim entfesselten Blitzen Man gewöhnt sich schnell an ihn. Mit der Energie geht der Canon recht verhalten um. Ein Stromfresser ist anders. Probleme mit Akkus hatte ich bisher auch nicht.Zubehörtipp: Ich verwende als Stromquelle die bewährten Sanyo Eneloop Akkus, mit quasi null Selbstentladung. Sowie eine aufsteckbare Softbox für den Blitz.Anmerkung: In den vorrangegangenen Rezensionen ist immer wieder von Problemen bez. der Bildgestaltung(Überbelichtung, schale Bilder etc.) zu lesen. Es gibt im Netz viele Seiten zum Thema Blitz. Exemplarisch sei hier nur der Name "Striewisch" erwähnt. Dieser hat bereits im "Humboldt Foto Lehrgang" einiges Interessante dazu veröffentlicht. Auch auf "Henner Info" findet man viel zum Thema Blitz. Letztendlich sind auch die jeweiligen Fotoforen eine Quelle des Wissens.Kurz und knappPositives:+ Verarbeitung und Haptik+ Lieferumfang+ Ausstattung+ Funktionalität, Schwenkbarkeit etc.+ Sehr übersichtliches Bedienteil mit gutem und beleuchtbarem Display+ Gute Ergebnisse+ Drahtlos steuerbar mit 7D+ Hoher BedienkomfortNegatives:- etwas fummeliger Entriegelungsknopf für den SchnellspannhebelMein Fazit: Für alle die Wert auf Qualität legen, gute Einstellbarkeit und Funktionalität suchen, aber den großen Systemblitz 580EX von Canon einfach nicht brauchen, ist der Canon 430 EX II genau das richtige Gerät. Hoher Qualitätsstandard und sehr gute Ausstattung zu einem noch akzeptablen Preis.Die fünf Sterne hat er sich ohne Frage verdient.
