The adhesive on this was poorly aligned (somewhat crooked and quite a ways from several edges) so the corners are already lifting after a week. The design is very grippy, but it feels sharp if you’re wearing thinner pants. Even through regular jeans it just doesn’t feel good.If the adhesive was actually okay I wouldn’t mind the product, as it keeps me planted really well through turns, but it won’t last very long the way it is.

PROS:* These are universal fit tank pads. The cut appears acceptable enough.* The dimples definitely snag/grip the inside of the rider's knee caps or legs. This is its primary purpose.* The pad material is soft and flexible at room temperature and easily trimmable down to size, if required.CONS:* The two-sided label adhesive is not 3M brand. It is Avery brand. Not sure about long term durability, but the adhesive is tacky enough to function. Hopefully the pad won't slide on very hot days.* Appearance might turn many away. You will have to determine if you can live with the beauty.* Unlike more expensive brand name offerings, reusability of the adhesive component is unlikely. Apply with care.SUMMARY:For the price, these are functioning tank pads. It is not currently known how well the adhesive will stand up to extreme cold and direct sunlight and heat. Place carefully, that is, measure many times before committing to the application.

Ordered these for my husband as he bought a W800 Kawasaki motorcycle last year in a matte colour on the tank. My thought was that he could put these on his tank to prevent the shine that is currently happening from all the rubbing with his legs, as well as protect his legs a little from getting hot.We received them quickly, however they are not comfy and quite stiff. We attempted to put them on the bike without the stickies, just to see and grasp how it would feel, and they did not conform to the shape of the tank. The pads themselves were also thinner than expected.
