I've had this sitting on my desk when not in use which was fatal for every other controller I own with inevitable dust getting into the sticks, but this one has yet to drift.Other than that, the D-Pad and LB/RB are clicky, the face buttons are tactile and not mushy, and the control sticks move very smoothly.Triggers do have a very high resolution, so it is somewhat responsive to depth of press. I don't play racing sims, but I imagine it would work well enough?It turns on automatically and connects to the dongle when I pick it up off the stand, 10/10 very convenient.My only annoyances are the bright white light strip on the stand when it's fully charged and the small bright white circular light on the front of the controller. It feels WAY brighter than the soft amber of partially charged. And I have been bothered by the blue-tinted eye-searing nature when playing at night when holding the controller, or even just the stand shining through my glass desk, lighting up a whole corner of my room when I'm trying to sleep. Normally I cover that stuff up with electrical tape, which will look kind of bad on the otherwise beautiful stand.As the title of the item states, it only works with the Xbox wired. Doesn't bother me because I don't have one, but this could be a deal breaker for Xbox owners.For PC and Steam Deck, I use the 2.4ghz wireless with the dongle. You can either connect the dongle directly or put it inside the dock and use the included USB cable to connect the dock to the PC. For Android, Bluetooth is the most convenient option.

This is an upgraded version of all 8bitdo controller I owned.This comes with tactile bumpers and alot tighter triggers which feels really good and responsive. The dpad is also tactile and feels really good, i dont use it for fighting games so i cannot give opinions on that. The ABXY buttons are rubber dome, no diff that the past 8bitdo controllers. 2.4Ghz dongle indeed is responsive as good as wired. Bluetooth have latency differences. I use this for PC gaming and alot of games have full support been branded official Xbox controller. The PC detects this as Xbox One controller wirelessly. I do know it's only wired for Xbox platform which is a huge bummer. The second miss is also that iOS is not supported which I don't understand as iOS accepts Xbox as a type of gamepad. The last is the dock light does not turn off even when fully charged which is annoying. I hope there's a FW fix to give me option to toggle it off over a period of idle after fully charged.But if you use this on a PC. YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT CONTROLLER AT ITS PRICE.Others like android, Xbox (Wired). I think you are able to find better controllers. Could have been the best controller but losing iOS support is a big miss.
